If there’s a poem about taking the long way ‘round, David Goldstein probably hasn’t read it. But when it comes to his Voice Over career, he’s living proof that good things come to those who persevere.

Described as “cool, reasonably disaffected, warm when necessary, with a smart, ironic eye,” David spent 20 years on the improv stages of Los Angeles, performing at iOWest, UCB, Second City, Nerdist and more, all while building a successful career as a Television Editor.

_Then, at age 37, he did what most people do…he picked up an accordion, joined an Irish punk band and toured North America for the next 5 years. Shocking as it may seem, the band did not last, and David found himself desperate for another performing outlet.

_Enter Nancy Wolfson, the premiere instructor in the voice over business. Halfway through his course of study, David booked his first national campaign, becoming the voice of Jimmy John’s. In addition to Ms. Wolfson, David has been coached in Animation/Games by Donna Grillo, and has studied with Bob Bergin, Dave Fennoy, Crispin Freeman, Andrea Troyias, Keith & Valerie Arem, and many others.
